12th November, 2018 - Tim recently spoke to Klassieke Zaken magazine about his new Sony Classical release, ‘Concertos’.
24th July, 2018 - Tim Kliphuis, Nigel Clark, Roy Percy, the Stellenbosch University Camerata and Cape Town Philharmonic collaborated in the recording of a new album.
To be released in September 2018 with Sony Classical, this album features two orchestral compositions: the Bach-inspired “Brandenburg” and Kliphuis’ self-penned Violin Concerto in D Minor. With thanks to beautiful Hugo Lambrechts Hall in Cape Town.
21st March, 2018 - Tim’s Reflecting the Seasons orchestral album with SONY Classical was reviewed in this month’s Strad magazine (May, ’17).
The review gives praise to his ‘bold’ and ‘unusually skilful’ reworking of Vivaldi’s infamous material, highlighting the particular beauty of the slow movements.
14th March, 2017 - On 27 April, King’s Day in The Netherlands, the Trio will be one of the featured guests in the televised King’s Concert performance which will be broadcast at 9:30pm, NPO 2.

The Tim Kliphuis Trio will appear at STV’s Live at Five show for a chat and some tunes on 16 February, before they play their concerts at Cottiers Glasgow and Queen’s Hall Edinburgh, see Tour Dates for details.
